this post was written on Feb. 8 but for many reasons didn't get posted unitl Feb. 9
Today had a little extra time up in Woodinville so I went for a walk in the Molbaks nursery. I thought it might have some neat photos and hey walking is always good. I also thought I'd ask a couple questions for my garden this spring. I was not disappointed! Here are some abstract (and I think rather cool) photos I took. It was so very fun to take some photos today!
Unfortunatly for some bizarre reason my camera was set on small resolution instead of it's normal setting of large, so the photos are smaller. This is less pleasing as i don't know what it will mean for prininting/submitting to the fair. I turned the set of photos into the Month Title Page for my scrapbook and added the quote for the month. "Everything is going to change isn't it?" which is a line from the fourth Harry Potter movie and as my next post will explain is the perfect description for this month.
Hope you enjoy. Now I am off to meet my new Guatamalan niece at the airport!!!

In two weeks, everything is going to be different.
I came home two nights ago to find out that they are remodeling my apartment and I have 60 days to move out. Blech. I hate moving! It's a ton of unecessary activity and cost. Nonetheless, on the 15th of this month Aggie, Fern and I will be in our new remodeled apartment. I will have stone counters and floors, and nifty new applances. I am trying to be excited, but there is just too much to do to really feel anything but overwhelmed. I talked them into letting me do it a month early so that I could not have to move in the middle of finals and a week before my application to Western is due. This is a GOOD thing.
On Thursday, baring any more damn emergencies or errors, my niece will finally be home from Guatamala. It has been a very difficult, heart wrenching, frenzied, 20 months of work to help get this little girl home and I can't wait to meet her. On Friday, we will get to see the first ultrasound photos of what I hope will be her sister. If it is her brother I will TRY to love him anyway. After all its brothers are kinda cute.....kinda

School is going well. I have a perfect score in the class and midterms are this week. I am working hard on my applications to transfer to Western. I hate the feeling of having to pimp myself: Is clean, has good teeth, will make good teacher.
